Boiler does not start
A boiler that does not start can have a simple cause or a fault that requires service. The error code and displayed pressure are very important.
Simple checks
- boiler has power supply;
- pressure is in the recommended range;
- thermostat requests heating;
- gas valve is open;
- display shows an error code.
What to send
- photo of the display;
- photo of pressure gauge;
- boiler brand and model;
- when the issue appeared;
- whether power or gas was interrupted.
Gas safety
If you smell gas, do not try restarting the boiler. Shut off gas supply, ventilate and call the emergency number immediately.
