Heating
Boiler loses pressure
Repeated boiler pressure drop indicates water loss or an expansion issue in the heating installation.

Possible causes
- small leak at radiators or fittings
- safety valve releasing water
- expansion vessel without proper pressure
- automatic air vent leaking
- internal leak in boiler or exchanger
What to observe
- how fast pressure drops
- whether it drops only cold or also hot
- water marks under the boiler
- wet radiators or pipes
- whether the safety valve drain has water
What helps estimation
Photos of the pressure gauge, boiler and areas with water marks help define the required checks.
