Booster pump
Booster pump does not stop
If the booster pump runs continuously or stops very late, the cause can be a leak, pressure switch or pressure tank.

Possible causes
- installation leak or faulty check valve
- pressure switch out of adjustment
- broken tank membrane
- incorrect air pressure
- pump cannot reach shut-off pressure
What to observe
- start pressure and expected stop pressure
- whether any consumers are open
- visible leaks
- whether the tank has a valve and indicated pressure
Why it should be checked
Continuous running can wear the pump and increase electricity use. Inspection covers hydraulic circuit and electrical control.
