Heat pump not heating
A heat pump that no longer heats can have setting, flow, hydraulic, sensor or refrigeration circuit issues.
Possible causes
- incorrect temperature setting
- insufficient flow in installation
- clogged Y filter
- sensor or valve issue
- defrost process or refrigerant error
Useful information
- error code, if present
- outdoor temperature
- displayed flow/return temperature
- photos of indoor/outdoor unit and controller
- whether installation uses underfloor heating or radiators
Caution
