Lighting
Lights flicker
Flickering can come from the bulb, light fixture, switch, connections or supply. If it appears on several circuits, the installation should be checked.

Possible causes
- LED bulb incompatible with dimmer;
- bad contact in socket or switch;
- loose connection in a junction box;
- voltage variations;
- neutral or common connection issue.
What to observe
- one bulb or the whole house flickers;
- it appears when a large consumer starts;
- it is constant or intermittent;
- switch makes noise, smells or heats.
When to request service
If flickering appears on several circuits, if there is burnt smell or if a switch/socket heats, request electrical inspection.
